I've been laying low in the world of photography lately, when winter rolls through I tend to lose my motivation and fade away into my warm burrito of blankets on the couch. Now that the outside world is bearable again I can finally get my motivation back and continue my journey in photography.
I was fortunate enough to attend a free workshop a few weeks ago from one of my favorite local photographers, Clay Cook. I was able to experience a close up look into the process of a professional photographer and learn tips to grow my success and creativity. After that workshop I was inspired to set up my spare-bedroom studio again and spend a few hours playing with my lighting and really just trying to get my creativity flowing.
It was a great way to kill a few hours alone at home and it I got some much needed practice with my strobes in a studio setting, something I unfortunately don't have much experience with. I'll be trying to push myself harder this summer to get more comfortable with my lighting and push my creativity as much as I can.
